Past Few Months with the Wiersbe's

Most recent pictures of me...about 38 weeks pregnant.

A few friends threw a shower for me in Dyersburg so this was that morning.

A cupcake from the shower.
A pictures from a week or so ago.

4th of July in St. Louis

We decided to spend Saturday and Sunday in St. Louis, MO
We stayed at a hotel right across from the Arch and there was a parade and big fireworks
display at night.

Recent House Projects

I painted the outdated chandelier in our dining room.
BEFORE

AFTER

I made a few curtains...3 down, 4 to go but I ran out of fabric.

Humidity in TN

Sometimes when it's really humid, this is what we wake up to in the mornings.

We've done a few things outside. Nothing major,
just put down mulch, trimmed back some things a
little and planted a few flowers. The outside projects
will come later...maybe in the fall.

It's usually really warm outside during the day so we try to work
early in the morning, but you can see that Jon is soaked and he hardly ever sweats!

Grandpa Wiersbe's 80th Birthday Party in Chicago

The Wiersbe women were super sweet and threw a mini shower. We got a carseat, some car accessories and Jon's mom made a receiving blanket and burp cloths with material we had picked out when she was in TN in March.

Kansas City, MO with Friends

We met up with friends from Sioux Falls in Kansas City where other friends live. This is me looking awkward trying to play Mario Kart.

Easter in Caledonia, MN
(Jon's parents live here)

We visited a dairy farm and Jon got to milk a cow for the first time. FYI - when cows get nervous, they use the bathroom. The one next to him was nervous.

Ultrasound Pics (for those not on facebook)

At about 16 weeks

The label is pointing to a knee

Brain, Eye, arm/hand & fingers/Heart (which actually looked like a heart - just a fluke)

The pastor's wife at the church we've been attending is the director of the crisis pregnancy center in town and she told me to come in for an ultrasound sometime as they like to have "models" come in when they don't have regular clients scheduled so I got to have another ultrasound this week. That's #3 so far. It was so much fun. The baby was moving all over the place and scratching its head. It was also sucking it's thumb or drinking water possibly because you could see it's mouth moving (like a baby when they are sucking). The girl that did the ultrasound tried to see if it was a boy or girl, but couldn't tell because the baby had its legs crossed and the umbillical cord was between it's legs. The next one is in March so hopefully we can see then.
